TRISTAN MANCO (UK)
Tristan Manco is one of contemporary street art's greatest champions and most distinguished writers. He has published six books with Thames and Hudson, which examine innovative artistic talent from around the world: ‘Stencil Graffiti’ (2002), ‘Street Logos’ (2004), ‘Graffiti Brasil’ (2005), ‘Street Sketchbook’ (2007) and ‘Street Sketchbook Journeys’ (2010). His most recent book “Raw + Material = Art” (2012) is an exploration of the way contemporary artists today are increasingly turning to low-cost, low-tech media and often totally original techniques to create their work. Alongside this and his day job as a graphic designer he has written numerous magazine articles in publications such as Juxtapoz. Creative Review and The Guardian. He also regularly lectures on the subject of Street Art for institutions such as Tate Modern, RCA and the ICA.
