Scandic Stavanger City is our new hotel – right in the centre of Stavanger and just a 3 minute walk from our main exhibition space. The hotel opened in April 2014 with a fanfare that included live art from Martin Whatson and Anette Moi. Keep your eyes peeled for Whatson stencils dotted around the lobby.
Scandic Stavanger City is centrally located within walking distance of the harbour and the city's best shopping, restaurants and nightlife. With its open lobby area and Varmen Bar & Restaurant, the hotel is a natural meeting place for locals and Nuart visitors. The hotel will also be hosting artists from Numusic, Nuart's sister festival. Keep an eye and ear out for guest Dj's popping up in the bar.
Hotel Scandic Stavanger City offers 226 comfortable and modern hotel rooms. The hotel is a business hotel with a conference centre, equipped with a total of 7 meeting rooms. The hotel's largest meeting room can accommodate up to 130 people and will be used for this years Nuart Plus series of events
The Hotel will host this years Nuart Plus series of event on Friday 5 and Saturday 6. See Nuart Plus for full program details. Here
